Facilitation for Change

This workshop covers basic facilitation skills: Active Listening, Non-Directive Leadership, Re-stating and Synthesizing, and Conflict Resolution. We examine the role of the facilitator in relation to the group and explore the differences between a facilitator and a meeting director or chair. This workshop uses popular education methods to generate a Facilitator's Toolbox, so that participants walk away with a refined understanding of the role of facilitation in group work, and concrete tools to employ when acting as a facilitator in any situation.
